MINI vacation, who's going?

I'm considering going but it will be around the beginning of January before I'll know for sure. If anyone is interested in going I think this will be one of the bigger events in the country this year. If you think you might be sure to reply to this thread so that we can coordinate a caravan.

I am from there, but live with my wife and kids here in Colorado now. I am interested in going, but right now it is a little too early to make any definite plans. Please keep me posted if anyone is going. Thanks.

I made hotel reservations allready. I don't think I am going to the track, but I am going to go on some of the drives around Vegas.

If some people want to caravan from Denver and go out I-70, I would like to take a short detour, if wheather permits, and drive highway 128 in Utah. It heads from
I-70 towards Moab and follows the Colorado river( adds approx. 1 to 1 1/2 hours overall. It is one of the best roads I have driven a MINI on.

My wife and I are planning on going. We have family out there. There has been talk at MINI of the Rockies (MOTR) about going. So I know we will caravanning to the festive event.

 

I sent my money in for the driver's school. I haven't made a hotel reservation yet. I definately need to get some new road tires before going - a few snowflakes on my current rubber and I'll be in the ditch.
The driver's event is on Saturday. I'm thinking about leaving early Friday, if the weather looks good. If it looks like the drive could be slow I'm thinking I'll leave sometime on Thursday.

I just want you guys to know, rooms are going fast for the Mini Vacation in Las Vegas. Don't get left out of the "host hotel" .... make your reservations soon.

I too think this will be the biggest event for MINI's in 2004.

I'm actually headed to So Cal at that same time, so I'd be interested in hooking up for the trip down and maybe hanging out in Vegas most of Saturday. I could meet up at Glenwood Springs on the way out. Let me know as it draws closer.

 

I've decided to not go now that they've canceled the track day. Hope those that go have fun and take lots of pics!

I'm going - and I'm going to plan to trailer out the car and a bunch of products. Hopefully we'll get enough folks to do a pulley party as well. Too bad you won't be there Mark .

I'll be out there, but coming from L.A.

 

It's a shame not that many people were interested in NorCal MINIs track event. It was a sweet price for all day use of a facility for just Mini/MINIs. When I heard the actual number of people signed up prior to the cancellation, I couldn't believe how low the number was!! I figured the event would have overwhelmed Phillip and NorCal MINIs.

 

I am going to Vegas. I have confirmed Hotel and with my wife. I would like to drive with a group, rather than alone, and can leave late Thursday or early Friday. Please keep me informed and I would gladly join a group.

I was thinking early Thursday morning. I have my hotel on Thursday night. I will make the call on the north or south route depending upon the weather.
