The glove box of my '03 MCS falls open on the slightest bumps. Anyone else have this problem? More importantly, has anyone had a dealer fix this problem without going back six times?

I'm having the same problem. The bigger problem is that my mini dealer is an hour drive from my house. I'm not looking forward to multiple trips to get them to fix it.

Mine did that and I just thought I didn't close it well enough, then it did it a second, third, and forth time and on and on getting worse all the time. I took it to Crevier where I bought it and they fixed it the first try. :smile:

I believe it is just and adjustment on the bracket the latch catches (at least that's the way they use to work in the old days .

I recommend using some velcro strips to fix.

 

The only time I've ever had this problem on my '03 is when some object is ajar when I close my glovebox. Never been an issue otherwise. If that's not the problem then yes, a slight tweak on the latch is probably in order. Hopefully its a small thing to fix. :smile:
