Karting at Speed Raceway

Join your fellow MINI5280'ers for an evening of indoor, electric (read: fast) go kart racing, beginning at 6:00 PM on Friday, May 7th. See speedraceway.com for full details on "arrive & drive." Come to race or watch. Your laps (and others) are nicely printed for you right after the race. Modern facility, free wifi, friendly staff, FAST karts, lots of turns on a challenging course. Snack bar or BYO food. Wear closed-toe shoes. Helmets provided. Indoor facility located east of S. Peoria St & north of E-470 (toll) (east of I-70) in Englewood (Centennial). Address is: 8532 Concord Center Drive, Englewood, CO 80112.

THis is a very nice facility. Even if you don't choose to race it is fun to watch (and free). A 12 lap race lasts about 15 minutes and cost $20. I think there were 8 cars per race but can't really remember. Look at our own Pauhana go:

and a few more here: Speedraceway

Thanks for the photos Chuck (and Chris). It was definitely fun driving. I was a bit tired after 12 laps but pleased with my first set of track times.

the Fine print

The fine print says "Limit 1 per person", are you buying an extra one as a gift? Just wanna make sure that you are aware of the limitation of this deal...

I understand the fine print. I may use it when family visits next month. I guessing that Speed Raceway will overlook the rule. Last time I didn't use all the races on one day and they didn't care. I am taking a chance but I think it's worth it.
