I got new EBC Green stuff pads and TSW carbon rotors about 1100 miles ago and I'm still having brake squeak at slower speeds. Has anyone else had this same problem with the EBC pads?

I was told I would have some squeak for 500miles or so but i'm over double that and the squeak is still there. If anyone knows how to stop it or has a suggestion it would be great.

I tried EBC Greens back in 05-06? But don't remember them squeeking, maybe they made the compound "harder" since then. Is it more pronounced in the mornings or cold climate? If so then it's normal. My current one sounds like an old truck.

 

Put some disc quiet on the back of the pads. It does help.
