Gauging interest in indoor karting -- fast, electric kart racing indoors at the new Speed Raceway (www.speedraceway.com) in Englewood, CO. Speed Raceway uses "XLR8R" high performance karts, which are similar to their gas-powered counterparts, approaching speeds of 45 MPH on the indoor track: a 1/4 mile Formula 1 style road course. The XLR8R karts are clean, green and no gasoline. They sound like a mad sewing machine.

I went again last night. Had a blast! We were talking to the owner and he is going to be opening another track up in Arvada off of i70 and wadsworth by the end of the year. Try to go on tuesdays, cause its buy one get one free.

I'm going there on Friday (4/30) to check it out and talk to the owner about group options. I'm thinking that we should try to go there as a MINI5280 group next weekend (5/8-9), but I'm not sure about availability for a group. The following weekend I'll be OOT at R4TO. A week night (like Tuesday) would be easier to schedule. There's lots of interest in going as a group. What are your preferred dates/times?

As for times, 10-12 or 2-4, would work for me.

Next weekend would be my only chance in May since I will be in TN until the 27th.
