British Car Union Karting Challenge
Alright Everyone. The British Car Union annual karting challenge is set for March 6th at noon, to be held at Fastimes Indoor Karting Center on 96th street. As some of you may know we are the defending Champs,
we need to defend our title. I've already heard alot of smack talk from the MG, Triumph, and a little from the Jag club so lets go get em
. Plus the karting will be discounted that day for competitors.
If anyone wants to make arangements for a weekend day to go get a couple practice runs in I think we can do it. Details will be on www.minicci.com soon.
Please RSVP on here or email it to me.

I have posted the info for this event on the MINICCI.org website. There is a link for a map and the website for Fastimes that has additional info about them.

do you remember who lost to Amanda? That was me. I don't know if I can do it. Plus, school is already started and I am working part time too. You should fly back and do it.
Ahhh it's just a bunch of MG and Jag people. You need more confidence in yourself. Aren't you the guy I was following doing 110...uhh I mean..nevermind. Anyways I'll actually be in Vegas with a couple hundred other MINI's and I won't be back until later that night. I can make the celebration party though

Alexy and Olga are planning on comming. Carl Henry said he was putting it on his calender so hopefully he'll make it also. I can only count 6 plus the one that emailed Cheryl that are coming.
Remember that is for Any club member or one of their family members. They usually have to be 18, but on that day we pretty much have the whole place and if they have a Drivers License that will let them race.

I'll be there Sunday too! I'm hoping to make it to practice friday night as well.
I've already emailed someone about this. The address on the minicci website is wrong. Supposed to be miniguru, but instead lists "minifuru" and nobody has fixed it...
BTW--how is this supposed to work? Best average time from each club, or just whoever has TToD? I haven't seen any ground rules for competition.

The way they did it last year if I remember right, was to run heat races and if you placed in the top 2 (I think) you advanced to the semi-finals. They then took the top 4 from 2 semi's and then ran the finals. It may depend on how many drivers there are.

We had a good practice session tonight. I hope more people can make it on Sun.
As for the price on Sun it's only $15. That pays for your heat race, and if you are one of the fast ones that moves on to the next round it is FREE. So everyone gets at least one run for their $15, but after that it's FREE so go fast. I ran 5 times including the final race last yr. for only the $15. It's a great deal since it's usually $18 for each run.

What a turn out for the MINIs today! Hope all had a good time. Congrats to MINICCI for retaining the trophy!! It will once again be on display at D&R.
The first 2 places in the finals went to MINICCI members:
Tom N
Waylen H
Third went to Nigel B who is a MINICCI member but ran for the MG club today.
There were even enough ladies to run a heat all by themselves! Kudos to you all for running!
