Just wondering if anyone knows what the dealer does for the 48000km 'vehicle check' service indicator? My oil change indicator still shows 10000km, not that I will wait that long, but this vehicle check thing seems to be something different. Should I just reset it and move on? Or, is there actually some maintenance to do besides an oil change.

Sounds like it could be due for maintenance service. Check your owners manual, it should give details about scheduled service intervals and services performed.

 

The newer MINI service booklet does not give intervals and services. It is all condition based service. They plug into the OBD II and the car tells the tech what needs to be done based on how the car has been driven. I liked just being able to look at a chart, or table myself.
