( oops....the word on the thread title should be 'apply ' ...not sure how to edit the title )


I know that you can apply Hydro over Zaino to act like a booster....I've been doing this for the past year and works well........I Zaino'd in late fall, then used Hydro a few times on a warmish day in the winter, and applied Hydro the last time 3 weeks ago........I just now washed and clayed and am ready to do this year's Zaino but the water was still beading like crazy which I am not sure is from the zaino of 5 months ago or from the Hydro of 3 weeks ago.....I am assuming that the Hydro is gone, but does anyone have any experience with applying Zaino on top of Hydro? I am not sure if maybe I should wait a couple more weeks for any remaining Hydro to disappear, but is this necessary...I'd like to get this done now ...........

 

No problem at all. I've done two coats of Zaino so far this Spring over Hydro. At this point I doubt you have any Hydro left on anyway. If you are concerned, just do a wash with Dawn and start all over at the base.
