Need some help here!

I was doing the thorough "Spring Cleaning" of Otis today, and noticed that the rear end, which has been ravaged by sand and mag sulfite thrown onto the Colorado highways I drive everyday, has very minute orange spots, possibly some surface rust?!

Being from CO< we usually don't have issues with rust or anything of the sort. I am hoping someone knows of a polish or something that may be able to remove these small spots. The metal isn't brittle there or anything, looks like it may just have hit the clear coat or base coat of the paint. Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

It is likely not rust. If the spots are extremely small, they are probably just surface contaminants. Get thee to AutoZone/Pep Boys/whatever, pick up a Meguiar's clay kit, and get to work

Sounds like a good first step! Any preference between Meguiar's or Mother's?

Nope. As long as you have clay and lube, you're good to go. Clay is clay.

Good to know! I was only able to find the Mother's clay bar kit, but at the sale price on $10, it looks like I gave myself some work to do on Wednesday!
