I have the option to buy some 235/45/17 tires for my Hamann 17x8 HM4's. Would this size fit ok on the R56. I know 235 40's work good but the local guy doesnt have any used in that size. I got a feeling they may be too tall. Anyone know?

By the lack of response I doubt m(any) people tried that size. I would stick to 235/40-17 especially on an 8 inch wheel.

 

Think so . Guess I'll play it safe and keep looking for 40's

 

i would go 225/40/17

 

Thing is there is only 1 tire in 225/40-17 and there is several dozen options in 235/40-17.
