My new ASA wheels!

YAY! I got new wheels for my 07 R56 Cooper. I got some ASA AR2 V2's in 17's. Tell me what you think btw because it was a hard decision for a 16 year old lol. Thanks to tirerack.com they were able to help us out on picking the right set and wheels out.

Those will look very good on your 07. What tires are you going to run?

Those must be a popular choice among MINI owners. I believe I've seen those on quite a few photos here on NAM. They're sharp.

They look like a b_tch to clean. I highly recommend you get some low-dust brake pads before you put those wheels on.

nice. gonna be sweet. Id also recommend a brake pad swap... I want to do mine, because even though i have what seems to be some of the simplest wheel to clean.... I hate doing it every 2 days if i want them always shiny

Those wheels are sweeeeeeet.
You're 16 years old? That's no fair that you get to have such a killer ride at that age. You should be driving a broken down Ford Taurus with the smashed in front end like the rest of us did at that age. lol Kidding.

Great wheels, man.
Post pics when installed and ready to go.

TO Tokyomini Wow your post made me lol hahaha Ya it started one day when my dad and i were at noodles and company and he saw a cooper s pull up. He said man i want to get you one of those cars you would look sharp in it! I said mhm even though the car on my mind then was a Golf R32. I got my car and soon fell in love with the minis all over again. Even though i have always loved mini coopers, it was a different feeling this time hahah ill post pics asap when i get them on. I do love my mini cooper though and now i think its my mommys turn to get one! lol

I think their resemblance to the OEM Cross-spokes gives them a bit of a popularity boost.

Thanks for the PM about the update. They really look great. Hey if you don't mind can you send me a PM with the cost of it all out the door? If you didn't see my thread I was curious to know what a similar set-up would cost me. Thanks and congrats on the new shoes.

Your car is pretty much exactly the same as mine BTW. That's not a bad thing ;-)
