Anyone headed to the 12 Hours of Sebring next week?

We will be attending for the 4th year in a row. There will be a BMW Car Corral at Turn 17 and they allow MINIs. If you've never seen a ALMS race, this is a helluva good way to lose your virginity. Hope to see you there.

 

Boy I wish I was going but it's just not in the cards for this year...

Guess I will be catching the ALMS when they come to Road America later on...

We'll be at Road America too. Sadly, this year it's a 2.75 hour race (instead of 4) and Speed World Challenge won't be there. Last year we went there for the historics. That was a blast.

We'll be at Petit Le Mans too, and maybe Mid-Ohio.

 

any talks of 2011? I really want to go, working on getting the time off and someone to come with.

 

We'll be there again this year (our 5th in a row). It should be a gem since it's also the opening round for the ILMC. Audi and Peugeot will continue their rivalry. Aston-Martin will debut their new LMP. GT2 will see the addition of the West Lamborghini Galliardo (two planned) and a Lotus Evora. I'm betting on 50 entries total.

I hope BMW will put on their car corral again. I haven't heard they won't. I worked the pits at Petit Le Mans, so I expect I'll do that again on race day.

i'm tempted to do the BMW corral even. its pretty reasonably priced too

 

Used to do Alfa Alley, Brit Corral, Corvette, Porsche.
They got so snobby in the 90's that we got away from them.
Track has changed so much that it's getting harder to find a good viewing spot.
