Rear brake pads

I will be at the meeting sat. My sensor light came on for he brakes and it turns out my rear pads need to be replaced. Advanced auto has Warner pads for the rear for about $34 with a $10 mail in rebate. Weird for me but I have never had to replace rear before. Is 87000 miles unusual life expectancy for the rear. My truck has about 260,000 miles and still on the factory rear pads.

replacing brake pads on MINIs isnt really that hard. Its alot cheaper and fulfilling if you do it yourself. There are a few threads on the general forum on how to do it. I changed my front ones last week, and I was pleasantly suprised on how easy it was. I also saved about $1,000!
