Yep, the Racine's are lowering their standards (by a HUGE margin) and are driving the SanDiego Minis-prepared 1962 Mini in the 24 Hours of LeMons!



The race is Saturday and Sunday March 7th and 8th at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma (aka Sears Point).

Please, whatever you do, don't consider the condition of the car ($500 value, less exempted safety equipment) or it's reliability as a reflection of them or MiniMania-- face it, it's a heap that for some reason they decided they wanted to pilot around a track with 140 other cars of similar $500 value-- like this one:



So if you can swing by at any time, be sure to introduce yourself but please, don't expect me to remember your names-- I'll be a bit more spazzy than usual: don't hold it against me.

BTW: My family and I will be attempting to pilot a Citroen D Special around the track-- or at least around the paddock.
