The fricken ups and downs of getting new parts

I know its happened to other people, but it really grinds my gears when you order somthing from a vendor and you dont get it when they tell you that you will have it on a set date. Im not here to bash a vendor, Im not even going to say there name, and i know that it not always there fault. But come on man!! I ordered some parts from a vendor on monday morning around 9:30 am I paid for 2nd day, and thats not gonna happen. They didnt even send it out until 5:30 today!! And it wont be here untill thursday next week because they sent it ground. Cheese and Rice !!! It sucks.

Sorry about your problems. This is the kind of thing that happens with drop shipping, just a reason I avoid it and try to just stock everything myself.
I suggest calling and talking to a live person anytime special shipping is needed. Good Luck.
If I can help you in the future let me know.

Many companies now charge more than needed for actual shipping to offset low advertised prices and increase their profit margins.

If you used a credit card, dispute this charge with your credit card company stipulating you were charged for services not received. You only need to fill out a form, and send them a copy of your bill showing the "two day" shipping costs you paid and how it was shipped ground. You will be refuned the difference and the vendor will eventually have to stop these practices or ultimately lose their merchant card privileges.

Call the company you ordered from, and put up a big, *(but polite) stink. Maybe they'll credit your credit card the shipping costs...

im sorry about your misfortune. I think that if a vendor says it will be there by a certain date and its not then they should refund shipping charges. also not to nit pick but you spelled eibach wrong in your sig
