Passenger Window
Passenger Window
My '05 passenger window makes a horrible, almost cracking sound if I attempt to roll it down or up. So for now, I don't do anything. There is a mark in my tint where it looks like something scraped it while rolling down/up (nice stripe right up the middle). I've read where some have given it a good whack on the motor to make it work but my motor works. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bill

Great diagram, nabeshin!
IMO, best bet is to remove the door panel and have a look. They come off fairly easily. For the '05 you need a (tape covered) screwdriver to release the armrest, then just remove all the screws (three around the oval, and one behind the reflector, IIRC) and pop it off. Pull the bottom straight out, then lift up when all the snaps have released. You should be able to see the offending item.
