I'm curious to know who may be interested in doing a drive late morning Saturday. I'm sure the event organizers will be doing one but I'm hoping I can convince you all to do something a little different. I'd like to do a ride up the Richard Russell parkway (how ironic?), cross the mountains and into the trackrock gap area nestled between Blairsville and Young Harris, then up to Brasstown Bald (provided the road isn't closed) and back to Helen via the 180 spur road. I was thinking of lunch on the Bald. I'm still very much recovering from my surgery so I doubt I'll be up for any serious curve carving hence I'd like to do a nice pleasant drive. Tell me what you think. I can map this out if you need me to but I kinda just know where I'm going (went to college up there).

There are two drives slated on the itinerary.. but hey its all about having fun!!! So the more drives the merrier.. pls just try to be at the winery for the group photo..!! We're up for as much motoring as possible. Barbie and I will be arriving Friday night late. We can't leave until after work. We'll be ready to go Saturday and Sunday.
