Since I was involved in a snowy parking lot bump,(fix dent in lower left of hood, new bumper cover, drivers bi xenon, and 3m clear bra,,, $4300) seriously, a 2.5 mph bump caused that much damage...

Anyway, it's getting new stripes. What options. It came with the two stripes on the hood, that angle away from each other.

I'm thinking Something else... What are your ideas? Pictures? I think my car ('10 MCS Chili red, black roof and wheels), would look good with a set of black and white stripes that run from the hood across the roof, and down the back. Maybe the roof stripes in white? Anyone have links or pics of various options?

Funny you should ask... I have the same color car as you and I have been researching stripes as well. I finally decided on viper stripes in contrasting red and black. Below is a picture I found in one of the stripe threads here on NAM. I just dropped off my car this morning to have stripes done exactly like the car shown below... My apologizes now to the guy I stole the idea from, but that is the sweetest stripe job on a red and black MINI I have ever seen...

I just googled viper stripes mini, and nothing looks like those with the small outter stripe. Any idea where they came from. They look very bad ***...lol

 

From the thread where I stole the pictures from the owner said Aesthetic Creations did the stripes from him. I just took the pictures to a local sign shop and they were able to duplicate them with just the pictures and a few measurements of my car. Mine is not quite finished as the red they ordered for the roof didn't match the red on the car so it will be Monday before my stripes are finished. The black stripes are down and look good on the front and rear of the car...

 

I would like to duplicate that look on my Red/Black MCS. Anyone in L.A. (The Valley, preferably) able to recommend a good spot to get that done? Who does custom stripes? TIA.

 

I did mine like this, got the idea from an online pic then went to a local sign shop and had the vinyl cut. total cost less than $60

 

If you want a great price for stripes, contact Rocky Mountain Graphics, I have them on my Clubman and was very impressed with the quality. They can do just about anything.
