Sat Nav up the creek

My nav´s marker (the car´s position) is several miles out/wrong on where the car actually is.

Tried taking out the nav-dvd, thought this would restart the system. No joy.

Anyone here with similar problems, and who knows the fix?

Are your sure it is the cars marker that is out of place and not the roads.

Only kidding.

Remove the Fuse from the fuse panel in the passenger foot well for the NAV system (I am not sure which one it is) and leave it out for 30 minutes. Put it back in and see if that corrects the problem. This should do a hard reset of the NAV systems.

Thanks

Norwegian roads are bad, but not that bad!

Will try the fuse. Someone on the British forum mentioned that the car´s reciever might be ot of order.

Probably got too near a black hole and suffers from a time/space continuum shift.
