Paint Defender Clear Bra

Well, the clear bra is installed. Ken Stommel of Paint Defender (www.paintdefender.com) came to the house and did a fantastic job. The material is known as Xpel, and has a 7 year manufacturer warranty. I can travel around now knowing I will not be getting rock chips in Cassie's freshly repainted bonnet.

Ken was a pro, not only in how he presents himself and performs the installation of the product, but in the after sale as well. Ken took great pains to ensure I understood how to care for the clear bra once it was in place and made it very clear that if there were any questions concerning the product or the installation to contact him and he would answer them. He also made it clear if I wasn't happy with anything to just let him know and he would make it right...needless to say I am extremely pleased with the product and HIGHLY recommend it to all MINI owners who are looking to keep their MINI for years to come; for those who trade their vehicles in frequently, this is a sure way to keep the resale value of your MINI at it's highest.

It is amazing how invisible this product is, the light has to hit it just right for you to barely make out any edges. Definitely a cool product!!

If anyone is interested in looking at the clear bra, just ask me and I will happily show you!

Good Idea, I guess I better go into the garage and take a couple.

Clear Bra Photos

Here is what the product looks like installed. It's nearly invisible unless you know where to look for edges. In the second photo you can barely make out the edge of the clear bra on the silver paint, everywhere else it is almost impossible to see. The clear bra covers half of the bonnet, scoop, bumper, and not shown are the mirrors and inside the door handle wells. Because I have a chrome grill I didn't need the grill protected. I installed headlight protectors last year so I didn't need those either.
