Anyone with a Nexus One (the Google phone)?

The MINI is designed to work with ipods, and I plug my iPhone in every day for my commute. Does anyone know how the Nexus One would work (or not) with the MINI?

I haven't come across anyone reporting if it does or not yet for hands-free support, maybe try asking in the Bluetooth thread? The first versions of phones running Android were a bit spotty, but I haven't heard of any issues recently.

If you're wondering about music support- anything that will connect using a USB cord and otherwise acts as a thumbdrive should work for music, as long as it's MP3's, WMA, or WAV files without DRM. The MINI will treat it just like a USB drive.

I believe they do, my car doesn't have the USB port and I've only had a couple days with a loaner to try it. I didn't try the playlists.

They can but it takes setting up and can be a bit difficult.

I have a Nexus One with Mini Connected. For some reason I can't get the system to mount and see my music files. When my phone detects the Mini hooked up to it, it asks if I want to 'Turn on USB Storage'. Just as I do on my home PC, I say yes. On my PC, it shows up as a drive. On the Mini, nothing happens.

When I plug in my son's iTouch it sees the music fine.

Any ideas ???????????

thanks!

I just use a cheap 8 gb usb stick. Quicker and no cords to mess with while in the car.

That being said, my evo doesn't connect via bluetooth and I have never tried the USB.

What Android version are you running. If if is 21. or 2.2 you should have not problem. But you MUST make sure the Phone is NOT in "Discoverable" mode, this will make it fail every time.

2.2 Stock Sense, phone is not discoverable.

What's weird is I can delete the mini from the phone and the mini.

I will add it and it will connect. Then the phone will disconnect from the car and the car will act like the phone is still connected (I still see bars showing signal) but it's actually disconnected. I have tried when it prompts to allow the mini to dl the phonebook pressing both yes and no to no avail.
