So I did a google map for the Aliante Casino. Man this place is going to be packed wall to wall if we all stay here.

Motor In is tonight (2/25) on Eastern south of the 215.
A Motor In is a social thing where we get together and chat and eat & drink & have fun. I'm probably going to miss tonight's event, sick baby.

For those of you that showed up, thank you. Hopefully you enjoyed your time as much as I did. I got to meet some folks from Colorado, San Diego, and some local folks.

Here are some pictures from the event. Feel free to copy them.

So how did everyone enjoy the autocross? Is it something SCCA should do every year for AMVIV?

What did you like or not like about the course? Should it be longer and more wide open? Was it fine the way it was?

a definate yes!

I did participate in the autocross. It was so much fun and the staff there was so helpful as were the other racers.

This was my first time trying autocross and I am hooked! I would definately participate in future autocross offerings at AMVIV.

Minmor, I think I remember you. I believe I had a hard time taping your numbers, because your great detail job.

For those of you who made it, thank you for showing up and taking part. It was a blast to see all the Mini's there.

The course is typically set up that way at this location due to the size of the lot. I must have been in the 50-60 mph range in some spots. The course was wide, fast, couple tight spots (made great for the minis). Some areas were confusing to a new driver, even the seasoned ones. The course designer got creative in some areas on cone usage to minimize the sea of cones. I will post a video that was taken during my wife's run or mine. The camera was mounted on the roof, it is a great way to see how the course was for the day.

I am sure that I will be contacted by Mark when the time come to scheduling for next year's AMVIV.
