No alarm?

[FONT=Arial] I just a purchased a 2009 Mini Clubman. On signing the loan docs I found out the vehicle did not come equipped with an alarm system. Can anyone suggest an aftermarket alternative?[/FONT]

I can't offer an aftermarket suggestion, but from what I understand, you can purchase the parts for the factory alarm and get a decent audio/alarm install guy to do it for pretty inexpensively.

What will a car alarm do for you? Alert you that your car was broken into? Make noise and annoy people?
