Need recommendation for audio in San Francisco

Hi all,

Could anyone please recommend someone in either San Francisco or San Mateo county who is experienced with aftermarket audio in Minis? I have an '09 JCW convertible which came with the standard stereo. It's the only thing on the car that I'm really not crazy about, and I'd like to improve upon it (especially the bass) without breaking the bank.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure if I'm going to have much luck with this, but I'm still hoping to get some leads here. Thanks.

Ask someone at the local club up there.. you're bound to get some help there. Good luck.

did you ever find anything? i've got an 09 convertible too that i definitely want to upgrade someday. didn't want to risk voiding any kind of warranty, but i'd really like to put a sub in. i know urbanmini was working on an enclosure, but that's just the enclosure only...

Hey guys, I'm from the peninsula
I know of a place called Pacific Car Stereo? I believe that is the name. There is a location in both the east bay (Union City?) and in Redwood City. My friend explained that they were once partners but are now run individually. They do installations but may try to rip you off, so know your info and at what price you would be willing to pay (at the RWC location anyway). Not sure about their professionalism, but they get the job done.
A friend of a friend also does installations on the side and it sounded great when he wired my Pontiac. I'm not sure he's done a MINI though. But PM me if you're seriously interested and I can ask my friend if he'd be willing. But no guarantees :/
