Sharing a Harman/Kardon Drive+Play install
2009 MCCS, non-hifi.
Controller and ipod both fit in OEM armrest (remove the phone snap-in plate for even more room in there): You can just push the wires through the back with clever manouvering, or remove the black cover and replace after. Stuck controller using 3M removable two-sided sticky stuff you buy for frames at Target for cheap...

Another look at the wires coming out of the armrest:

Display stuck using the same sticky material thing, far-left corner of dash. Wire runs to the left side, there are lots of little spots a cable can squish in and get held, all the way down, then under my rubber mats...

This is where the brain lives, all wires go there. The wires from the controller and ipod ran under the passenger seat, lots of places to hook it onto for secure fastening too! Tuck a bit under the mats and voila, it's pretty much concealed.

Now, as an FYI, I ended up removing this, first my 3rd gen ipod I think is just about dying, even after a battery replacement. Second, the fact that when the brain was plugged in to the cigarette lighter, the ipod did not get a stop-playing signal like it did when I had it wired in my previous car. Not certain about what was going on, but I just changed ipod to another old ipod mini I had, and now just use the factory ipod integration.
Hope these pics help. I do have the D+P for sale since I have no use for it, in case anybody cares, for a nice low price.
