Subwoofer under passenger seat?

Has anyone done this? There used to be alot of talk about using the space under the passenger seat for small powered woofer.... there is/was a felse floor under there...

Anyone do it/try it?

I'm not certain, but isn't that the DSC computer space?

Bad Idea. An accelerometer is under there, this thing helps the car with stability control. Adding a magnet would definitely screw something up. Put your amp or dsp under there.

The depth on the compartment is only 2.6 inches and then without the false floor you only get up to about 3" because of all the mechanisms under the seat.

ok, thanks guys. I've been "hangin on" to that idea/dream since getting the car over 2 years ago. I guess it's time to let go, and bite the bullet on another solution... I really can't kill my boot, hmmmm now the BIG question. Should I remove the rear useless seats... what to do, what to do??

Removing the rear seat gives you lots of boot space. This is in processes. Shows the wall to keep cargo from coming forward in an accident. I've made a top, but haven't finished the mechanism for locking it in place. So, the area between the two speakers would be covered. Floor carpet is not yet trimmed and attached.
