Interior/Exterior hamman style lip dimensions
The part is about an inch thick and will hang about an inch and a quarter off the bumper as per their mounting instructions. You can probably tuck it a little higher but to be honest, in FRP or Carbon I would be more concerned with cracking it then scraping and lord knows where ever you buy it from it probably wont come drilled or with anything to mount it. Hamann originals are ABS plastic so fitment is better and so is durability. I have the rear diffuser in carbon and have been dying to put the front on but I live in Canada and the roads are disgusting. Even without being lowered I scrape as is. I lived in Cali, Alameda county isn't too bad but your car looks pretty hammered. You may want to try Stassentech, Garbino, MDH for nice, unique lip/splitters that don't hang. They are all about $400 but what can I tell you, I am having the same problem deciding I may just get an aero bumper for that price.
I have a fiberglass knock-off and the quality is great. I'd give it an 8 out 10. Construction is great and I haven't had any problems, not even with scraping. The OEM air dam underneath scrapes, but not my lip and my car is lowered. I am careful when leaving places with dips. The biggest problem I have is having to use touch up paint due to the gravel flying at it all the time. It's been good and I get a lot of compliments with it. I'd love to have be real thing, but you know how much they cost.
hey, put up a picture when it gets installed if it is not already. I'd love to see how high you got it to mount on that version. That has been the missing link to my car that I have been too big a puss to install.
damn that looks great. I am trying to see if i can get a group buy from my parts supplier on that piece and the hamann version of the roof spoiler in carbon fiber. I am just afraid the front piece will scrape here and I will hate to take it off for winter. I was quoted $150 for the roof spoiler in carbon if I can get 10 people in.

Here are the images of the hamann spoiler. I have never seen it in person but have always loved it. Hamann parts are fiberglass so I never figured there was a point to buy the original if I can get it made as a custom in carbon fiber for 1/3 the price. I dont know what shipping is but if it gets serious I am sure I will get a great price.
