I bought the car this way, apparently it didn't have any stripes from the factory, the dealer put them on. Stripes go from the front all the way to the back.

What say you?

I always HATED stripes on cars. Like seriously DESPISED them.

Then I drove the Mini I ended up buying. Once I saw it next to a Midnight Black without stripes, I was convinced. Minis rock with stripes.

Keep em. Add to em. But for god sakes, don't take em off!

 

Keep the red stripes and paint the barrels of those R105's.

Also, those R105's are sexy. I'd definitely do that if I had 'em.

 

I vote ditch them. Red is a terrible accent color (IMO of course). I think the same stripe in a dark silver would look money on black though, but you'd need to carry the stripe through the sunroof, hood scoop and both bumpers.

Maybe if the car was dark silver I'd like the red, but on black it's just too much contrast.

 

Looks good to me, I'd extend them down the bumpers.
