in the millions of MINI searches I have made since ordering my car ( 10days to go) I remember finding
a link which showed how a company, (MINI?) had made a plastic door with a latch or lock that would cover a
hole in the side panel in the boot. This gave us a place to hide valuables out of sight
Please, I need your help, a link to this, or a part number with cost so I can order it.

I haven't seen the product you're talking about, but the car has a panel sort of like what you're describing, straight from the factory. There's a plastic access panel on either wall of the boot to get at the taillights. Does the aftermarket thingy just fit into that hole somehow?
