September Meet N Eat
This month we are heading to Joe's Crab Shack (20 Meadow View Dr, Birmingham, AL 35242 phone 981-2999). The date is Monday, September 14th.
We meet at 5:30PM & eat at 6PM hope to see you there!!

Jane and I went to Atlanta for a meet and eat with Atlanta Minis on Sunday. Went for a 2.5 hour drive and then to... (you guessed it) a Mexican Restaurant. TT you would have enjoyed it.

Hope you guys have a nice gathering~
I will not be able to make this one. My Daddy, Milford Perkins passed away last week and his funeral is tomorrow afternoon.
Also I have recently joined an "oldies" band and our practices are on Monday's and Tuesday's in Trussville. I can't really call myself a member here since I can never seem to make the events. Its a timing and distance issue, not the lack of wanting to be there. Maybe I'll make it sometime soon~

It gets better each day, as the sad memories fade into the good ones~ He was 83, had been bedridden with Alzhiemers for 8 years. It was terrible to watch my father slowly decline. But praise God he's no longer trapped. And we'll meet again upstairs someday~
Are you seriously in Spain? And you keep up with this Alabama gang? I am impressed. Thanx for you kindness, we need more of that, don't we.
