After Market Bike Rack for Gen 2

I need to see what kind of " bike rack " can be used on a gen 2 MC
would like to see if I can avoid useing the full roof rack or a hitch unit.
As you re aware there is no lip on the gate to hook the top straps on.

Cops are going to love the way it completely covers the license plate. Or am I missing something?

Guess what they all do on most cars.

Take a hitch mount for instance i blocks the licesne plate.

Hatch mounts on mini vans in some cases block the plate if it is mounted in the hatch door at the rear.

Hatch mount on a sedan covers the plate on most cars as well.

A Rather typical situation.

In Texas, you would be ticketed for that before you drove 10 miles.

I sent three days doing nothing but driving 7 plus hours a day in Texas and never got stopped in my Nissan there was not way anyone could see the license plate on that car with the 4 bikes hanging there. And on top of that the license plate lights did not work either. This was during the summer of 2006.
