Awesome HDRs! When I saw the thread I was thinking uh oh...probably another poor HDR attempt. WRONG, glad I clicked it haha. I really like the colors.

Could you give us info on your specific process?

Nice compositions but the processing is terrible.

Read the HDR Bible...

The angles are disorienting, but other than that I like them Not very subtle, but then again that's the beauty of HDR, it allows you to use your own artistic interpretation.

This is a bit of a rerun from 2007, but after checking out the site CountryBoyShane gave to McCollough's site, he demonstrated the need to use layer blending and layer masks to get decent HDR results. IMHO, if you're going to do that anyway, why not try to make a realistic looking photo rather than an over-processed painting? Just another point of view.

Below is an example of what I'm talking about. (click on the photo for a huge version)

This photo was taken in Alviso just south of where you took your photographs.

I've started an HDR thread in this forum, if you're interested. It's over here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...nd-random.html
