07+ JAC Abandoned by the Performance Aftermarket?

Very disappointed in availability of aftermarket CAIs and catback exhaust options for 07+ JAC (just another Cooper). Lots of hints, hopes and vailed info but no solid links with parts #s. Delta Mini WHO, WHAT, WHERE? Megan Racing... WHEN? Can't find a real CAI to save my a$$... Guess it's just another sign of the times. Too much R&D cost for a limited market.

Was going to put the 01' Bullitt Mustang up for sale and mod up the new mini. Now thinking new mini will be good trade-in for a new car for the wife.

Tired of fruitlessly seraching the WEB. Anybody got any solid info???

Frustrated new mini owner!!!

Call Dustin at (312) 388-4263 (AutoXCooper.com). He specializes in just Coopers and should have the latest info on what is available.

I know what you mean dude. I drive a JAC mellow yellow 07. Even though ive driven the R53 Cooper S & the R56 Cooper S and Cooper you can def tell a difference try to go to your local merlin or somewhere and get a pipe bended and get a K&N Filter on the end and make a closed box for it so it is a CAI

That's what I'm in the process of doing. I have a simple cone filter setup now, I'm going to build a box around it and run a tube from the hole in the grille.

I thought you were going to sell your MINI soon. I suspect it will be harder to sell with engine mods.

It'll probably be towards the middle of next year if I do. And I have a box full of OEM parts. The intake only took a few minutes to put together so it shouldn't be that difficult to put everything back where it was in the first place.
