Where is the Harman/Kardon Amp?

So, where is it? And can you fit another one in since all the prewiring is already there?

Where is the Harmon Kardon Amp?

The H/K amp is located in the boot on the passenger side. It's bolted to the fender behind the inspection door.

Perhaps, if the replacement was not much larger.

Just out of curiosity I am interested in just what is driving you to go into the HK DSP Amp compartment? I have a deep vested interest (almost $1000.00 worth) in anyone who gets involved with their HK DSP amp.

I'm thinking about upgrading the sound with a newer, more powerful amp and was just wondering where I could find it.

No - 1st Gen convertibles with H/K have the amp under the passenger seat. If the same convertible also has the factory Nav, the Nav computer is under the driver's seat (instead of the passenger seat like all of the hardtops).
