Help the brakes are off and the new brake sensor is not the right one. ITs not even close to the same wire. Any advice?

Nope it was the right sensor. I just broke it. Any advice of how to wire it with out using it?

 

Mine are up with zip ties, I use pads that don't have a slot for the sensor...

 

How do you shut the brake sensor light?

 

Cut the end off and tie it together with a wire nut.
If you are good enough to change your own pads, then you are one that
will watch how the pads are wearing anyway. You don't need the sensor.

do note that to get the sensor lite OFF after changing (or tricking) the sensor: Turn the ignition to #2 position w/out turning the car over and let it sit for around 30 seconds. This should reset the sensor

 

That did it. I now have 4 wheels with new brakes and rotors. Thanx to my friend Russ who came down with some tools and did it. Its not hard but it is tiring. Now off to my power steering problem. I'm gonna start a new thread.
