'05 MC made me buy another sportbike

I don't know if this has happened to others but since buying my pristine used 2005 MCS several months ago, it made my BMW K1200GT motorcycle looks like a grandma's bike. The performance of the mini has made commuting to work a pure joy. I have even acclimated to the fairly loud Manga Flow cat back system. Anyway, the BMW motorcycle quickly became way too tame for enjoyable jaunts. So, this past week, I sold the K bike and purchased a Honda VFR Interceptor that is a great all-around sport-oriented motorcycle. I can say that I feel positively blessed to now own two great marques. I don't know what is happening but the Mini triggered some dormant go-fast around the twisties thoughts that migrated to my motorcycle preferences. I am not however going to trade in my 52 year-old wife. She is a sport-model and hard-core runner. I guess turning 60 this past month wasn't so bad
