R50/53 °c to °F
I was adjusting my auto ac and next thing i knew it was all showing the temps on it and the on-board computer in °c. how can i adjust this to return it to °F? I feel really stupid for doing something and not knowing what i did but i did it so can someone let me know how i can fix it?
Fascinating,
I've heard that it was a dealer only change, but obviously it's not. Do you remember how you did it? I much prefer Centigrade to Fahrenhiet scale.

You can change it yourself. Just hold down the ON (right side of AUTO) for a few seconds. That will do the change back and forth.
As I recall that's it. If that doesn't work, hold down AUTO for a few seconds.

Well, we're all going to have to switch to metric in the next five years.
Wait, they said that when I was in grade school, too.
Reminds me of a conversation I had with a gentleman in Toronto a few years ago. He was a subscriber to the magazine I worked for at the time. I told him I was in Denver and it was early October. He asked if we'd had our first snow yet. I said no, but it was getting colder. He asked if it had gotten below zero yet. I said, no, it hadn't gotten that cold, but we had a few overnight freezes. Then we both fell silent as we realized we were dealing in different systems. We had a good laugh as I restated my answer that we had, in fact, dipped below zero.

I don't have auto AC.. just the regular kind. I just have the 2002 Cooper. Is there a way I can change it? I looked all over the manual and gave up. I am getting pretty good at guesstimating Fahrenheit temperatures!

Thanks for the info. Just held down the auto button for 3 - 5 sec. and it switched right on over; then did it again to reverse; then again over to the C scale. Oh what fun! Thanks to DiD.
