Yes, and lots of dust....she needs a good cleaning. I'm too busy racking up the miles...no time to clean!

Never had a warranty on mine. Bought it used summer of '06. I have had very good luck, now it's for you to mod away!

sighs its so sad when the minilet becomes a full fledged mini and can fly on its own!!! I have 8000 miles left.. and she is heading down for new brakes..
so the warranty work on it so far..
new thermostat
cv joint seal thingamabob
new drivers side door pull ( needs another one sigh)
new bearing? for the clutch
new clutch

going in for new brakes.. woohoo good for another 40000 miles!!
Roll on big wheels!

Not particularly all that much. Let's see if I can remember....

- repair auto climate system (but that was the dealer's fault because they fouled it up when they installed the iPod adapter when i bought it ).

- O2 sensor at about 30k miles

- Replaced passenger side drive shaft

- Replaced Driver's seat lower leatherette cover (original one started cracking).

- Replaced exhaust system (just a couple weeks ago) because the muffler developed a rattle they couldn't fix.

- Replaced Water pump due to coolant leak.

Good grief....that's a longer list than I remembered. Oh well...

I've had several VWs over the last several years, so I'm used to having lots of warranty repairs done.

I usually want to go trade my car right about now....but this one I think I'm gonna hold on to for a while. I LOVE it. I enjoy my commute to work every day and never get sick of driving it. I just hope the clutch doesn't go out or something big like that. I'm about due for brakes....50k miles on the original set and they are getting a bit thin now.
