Wet Okoles coming today - removing front seats?

I ordered the full set, fronts & rears, for my '06 Cabrio. They should be deliverd today, per UPS tracking. It only took 2 weeks from when I ordered! I thought it would be longer...

I have heard the easiest way to install is to remove the front seats and that it is as simple as 4 torx bolts. But I have the heated seats and I wonder about the airbag connections. Can I undo the bolts to lift the seats, but leave the airbag and the heated seats still connected? Does anyone have a picture of these connections so I know what to look for?

Any hints for the rears? I think I have figured out how to take out the bottoms.

Any other hints/tips/warnings about installing Wet Okoles?

Thanks!

I don't think you'd need to take out the front seats. It's not that difficult. I have big hands and managed enough. SOme tight squeezes but nothing unmanageable. The back seats though are a different matter. Not sure if there's a difference between the coupe and convertible when it comes to back seats, but I definitely had to take them out which is pretty simple to do. This link is what I used, but again it was for the hard top. Hopefully, it'll apply for you too.

if you do take them out its just 4 torx up front. T25 i believe. I dont have heated but there was just one big connector that you pull a little black hadle and unconnect... easy

Make sure you disconnect the negative connection on your battery before you start so you dont set off your airbags

You can install the front seat covers without removing the seats. The first one is the hardest since your figuring out what works as you go. I recommend raising the seat as high as possible to give you more room to work.

I installed mine without removing the seats and just had them out for cleaning this weekend and put them back without removing the seats.

Thanks! The UPS man came at 5:30 and we got right on it. Just finished up a few minutes ago.

We got them on by removing the torx screws but not unplugging the heated seats/airbags.
