Pics of my Mini in Miami
Here is a batch of photos I took on Sunday and one on Saturday in and around the same location in Miami. I need to bring a ladder next time and take some of the rear but all in due time. Enjoy!

Great pics! Love the colors. Are you using filters with the camera or tweaking things in photoshop? I think the pic with the shadows of the people in front of it would look cool with a thumbs up or something like that. Love the last pic but wish the car was moved to the left in the pic just a bit, to set it off from the tree and fence on the right.
Thanks for the comments.
The pics are shot with just a Hoya polarizer filter and actually are HDR merges. When I went to shoot the car I wish I had a GND filter on me but also realized that often time the car traverses the horizon line making it not suitable. So I decided to bracket them and merge them later. My philosophy for HDR has always been to violate tonal hierarchy to create a photo that doesn't "exist" but only because of lighting limitations(in my case having 2 flashes and no fill lights became my limitation at the location). This prevents overprocessed HDR images that look cartoony etc. The colors are all there though before the merge and come out just a bit more saturated when they go through tone mapping. The only thing I find myself doing in photoshop is finish leveling, sharpening, and cloning out stuff that distracts the eye. With the exception of the one with the shadows all of the photos were shot during the "golden hour" which is why they have a color cast. The more yellow/orange ones were earlier and the last one was quite later at the end. Sunsets in Miami are full of color.
As to the one with the shadows I have other pics with us holding hands with them raised over our heads which is hilarious looking and many other fun ones. I wish I could post them all.
I agree with the comment about the last picture and it kinda sucks that I didn't really have time to keep moving the car. That light window is really short. 5 minutes after that photo and it was pretty much dark. But oh well, nothing a little cloning and cropping can't take care of.

1, 6, and 7 are great, the others are too out there, seemingly overdone (under but it was too dark anyway on last)
And grats on the new Mini Kat and Dave (seeing as David is the only one who would get so heated up about an S2000, otherwise there's problems!)
