REME Summer Mountain to Coast Tour

We are currently mapping out and planning a run from Red Bluff in northern California up to Oregon (Crater Lake) and across to the Coast at Gold Beach then down south to Eureka and then wind inland to Wilderville, Medford, Ashland & back. Wonder if any of you would like to join us for all or part of this run. Also we welcome any input on roads and places to stay.

Here is a link to the draft route map. http://redwoodempiremini.com/PDF/REM...ean%20Tour.pdf

The run is scheduled for June 27-29, 2009

email me if you have any questions or input.

Thanks,

Pooper

REME 2009 Crater Lake to the Coast Tour

Please join Redwood Empire Mini Enthusiasts for our Crater Lake to the Coast Tour on June 26-29, 2009.

The run is a little informal but will begin and end in Red Bluff, CA. The map has been developed and stops and layovers established mostly in larger towns that have many options for hotel / motel accomodations so no specific rooms have been reserved.

Here are the starting points and possible hotel accomodations:
  • Thursday night: Travelodge, Red Bluff (optional)
  • Friday Night: Best Western, Klammath Falls (many options available)
  • Saturday night: Travelodge, Grants Pass (many options available)
  • Sunday night: Forest Lodge, Happy Camp (I don't know of any other options... this may be a dump)
  • Monday Night: Travelodge, Red Bluff (optional)
Please monitor the REME MegaBBS for additional information as the run is further developed.
