Suspension Rear Camber adjusters, Would you recommend if lowering only
For you guys that lowered your Minis, this question is for you. Im planning on installing a set of springs on my 03 Cooper S. Front will be lowered 1" while the back will be lowered 1.2" My questions is. Do I need the rear camber adjusting rods? How about the front? Is there any problem there in getting it aligned?
Thanks,
Thanks,

The rear camber adjusting control arms are optional. You can leave the car alone and drive it with negative camber probably you will have about negative 2 degrees to negative 2.4 degrees I would guess. Depends on your other suspension parts and wheels. You can elect to have it aligned at a brake and alignment specialty shop and they can set the rear camber for anything you want. Common settings are negative one degree to negative 1.5 degrees. You can choose. The more agressively you take corners the more negative camber you want in the rear but the more you need to rotate your wheels to not wear them out too quickly- every 3000 miles or so- watch them for wear.
Normal brake shops don't want to do the alignment for a lowered MINI. Brake specialty shops are OK on aligning them.
Front additional suspension parts you don't need. Lowering one inch isn't much.
