Looks like the Stebel Nautilus Compact and the Bad Boy compact also around that price. Nice and loud? One of my factory one's has failed twice now but on warranty.

Those wires coming out of it going to melt? It looks like they are touching the heat shield.

Looks like one to me too. I have one on my Motorcycle. Be sure to use the relay wiring set up (it comes with the Stebel so I hope this one does too) or you won't get as loud as it can possibly be. It wants full current to really show out.

Nah - Just the angle, they are quick tied and hanging.

I have a Stebel version. I mounted mine in the the compartment where the ABS module is housed, that lets the go right to the air. Although, thinking about it now mounting it where you did also lets it vent to the air (albeit under the car) and keeps it warm so it doesnt freeze up in the winter.

I can imagine many polite situations where I wouldn't want to use the locomotive horn.
