JCW springs - where to get them from?

Hello guys, i'd like to ask where i can get a new set of JCW springs for my R50. Any shop or vendor that would be able to supply them? I am not interested for the JCW struts, only the springs, since i have new Koni sports.

Also, if someone could help me find the part numbers for my car, acording to my VIN and options, i'd be thankful.

Check with Way Motor Works and or Morristown MINI, both NAM Vendors/Members.

Im just curious as to why your seeking out JCW. Why not go with a different brand?

I could go with the Eibach, which lower 30mm (1.2inch), and are linear rate front and rear. But, i assume i 'll have to buy adjustable control arms to correct the rear camber then, and the car will become harsh, you don't know what a Greek road is like :P The MINI has small suspension travel, and reducing it by 30mm, is not going to help, right?

JCW sprins only lower about 10mm, are linear too, and i believe they are the best compromise, except for their price i guess...

I am not just looking to make the car lower, but every day driving performance. And i really don't like most of these crap springs out there, lowering the car more at the rear (which i hate) and sagging over time ( dont know if i say it right).

JCW's are progressive rate and will drop about 1/2 inch.

Are you sure about this? That they are progressive?

i have eibach at the moment and am getting koni yellows at the end of the month for a bargain price. would the standard jcw upgrade be better than eibach koni route from experience?

was thinking jcw springs with koni as well, but unsure. strictly street driving, no track use. sorry for the hijack

Having driven around Athens to Sparta and on various islands, I know what you mean about Greek roads.

The JCW springs are progressive and slightly stiffer than stock and are supposed to lower about 10-15mm.

You are correct that loosing suspension travel does generally have an effect on the ride. I don't know by how much the JCW springs will affect the perceived ride quality. It is difficult to express and rely upon other's opinion on such a subjective topic like ride quality. I am trying to research that as well.
