Red carbon kevlar gas cap on eBay

I just noticed that RogueSe7ens put another of his parts on ebay, this one is a carbon kevlar gas cap. Check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mini-...Q5fAccessories

He does great stuff and really good prices, it's what I have.

Wow DL, I had a little time to get caught up on some reading and didn't realize this was here, thanks.
The color of the red didn't show up that well in the pics, I should have taken one out in the sun, but everyone who sees the red, or really any of the colors, really likes it. We'll see if it sells. I did sell a blue carbon kevlar one little while back.

That's a really cool part. Anything that might go well on a pepper white? I know that isn't the best color to work with..Too bad my Mini is coming in the pw or I'd be interested in the cap.

There is nothing wrong with white in my opinion, in fact it's neutral so you can use accents that just wouldn't work with most colors. You already have black accents so straight carbon would work, but I would recommend trying a different weave than everyone else. You could even go orange, yellow, red, blue, green... as long as you do it tastefully and consistent throughout.

Nice work, Rogue.

Thanks, I've done quite few for the R53 too, and will be doing more as long as there is interest. This was the last one I sold:

Also sharp.

My three MINIs are two 06 JustaCoopers and one 05 MCS Convertible. All three have the flip-open gas tank lids.

Carbon fiber wouldn't look very good on my CR/Checkered MINI.

So what else do you do? Do you have a link?

I've got some CF/Kevlar side scuttles and i'd like to add more.

"So what else do you do?"

I've done a load of parts in straight carbon, like multifunction steering wheel spokes, dash, a pillars, mirror covers, headlight rings and various interior pieces, but yet to have anyone go with the colored products on most of these parts. Maybe someday I'll make available some interior parts.
I like the blue too but red is really sharp and I've got a couple yards of green, but no BRG Mini's yet. Silver looks nice on some parts, but I really don't like working with it. I'm making some parts right now for someone in carbon basalt, and plan on ordering some carbon zylon to play around with.
Like I mentioned earlier I like seeing things done a little different than what you always see, like this BMW part done in broad tow carbon, it's not for everyone, but I liked it:

do you work for AE Carbon? The gas cap looks exactly like the one they have on their website.

No, this is all my own stuff. Actually I don't really know anything about AE but they're in the Phoenix area too I think.
I've probably done 50 to 70 of these over the years, including straight carbon, so most of the ones I'm providing now are in carbon kevlar, just to provide something a little different.

Rogue,

do you have a non colored CF gas cap for an R56? If so, what's the cost?
Do you have a link to a site w/ prices for what you charge, etc?

Thanks,
