Removal of steering wheel MF switches

Dont know if anyone's attempted this or not. Heres what im doing...

- Im installing my JCW wheel with CF spoke covers. Im going from my 2-spoke to the 3-spoke jcw wheel. I have all the parts to do the conversion, airbag etc. Minus the 3-spoke MF switches. I really want all spokes to match in CF so i got all 3 Jcw CF spoke covers.

- I dont use the CC at all, so i wont notice being without that. I do use the audio controls but i use the controls on my iPOD which i have routed through the Euro-shelf and im gonna mount it on the dash for easier access.

- So my question is, since im gonna remove the MF switches, what do i do with the wires/plugs attached to the MF switches when i remove them ? Do i wrap them in electrical tape and stuff them inside the hub somewhere ?

when I took my wheel off the wires were stuck in the wheel with little tabs. I think you might just be able to wire it as if you were using the MF controls, but just don't plug them in and leave them in behing the JCW plates.

Cool thanks ! I think i'll just wrap them in some electricl tape and tuck them under the cf spokes.
