Beautiful Mini BTW. Have you looked at Craven's Speed Platypus? Its a terrific tow hook mount.

thank you!

Yes... I was thinking about that. do you think it would look funny with two lights right in the middle, and a license plate on the left?

but yeah i was wondering about a no holes mount...

Would you be able to mount it above the middle lights? I hate that here in NY we have to have the front plate, I recently got the no holes mount.

I'm going to try and see if i can put it above the center lights.... but I'm thinking it will look alittle crammed in there....

I may have to take off the center two lights... GRRR!

Swift MotorSports hideaway plate bracket and DIY Lip.

I have a kit from Swift Motor Sports that slides the license plate under the front facia. I had to trim the under lip a little to make it sit flush against the bottom. I usually run with plate hidden, no problems yet.

Here it is hidden, It is really not noticable from front unless you crouch down.

Here is a distance shot.....The DIY Home Depot front lip spoiler hides most of it.

thats pretty cool.
So when you drive long distances or something you just flip it up??

do you have issues with scraping it when you go in and out of driveways etc etc

does anybody know if i could use the craven speed plate holder and justify it to the left so that it would clear the lights?

It looked to me like it was a pretty customizable setup.

Here's an idea: skip the front plate.

+1. I've been driving with my Euro plate only for a while and haven't run into any issues yet. Of course, if I get pulled over, that's the least of my worries (meaning visual issues, not speeding issues. I know how that goes around here)...

edit: I just remembered, the one time I was questioned, I used the age old, "I'm coming-home-from/ forgot-to-put-it-back-on-after a car show" excuse. Works every time!

Texas is the same way. Just go without. At night, they cant see it anyway with your lights on. And when its daytime, if they are passing you, they have to crane their necks to see your back plates (you could be from another state).

Just have it with you when you get pulled over. Give the excuse and go about your biz-nass. I havent gotten stopped yet. But i see so many cars without front plates, i just dont worry about it

Here is my MSF mod with the plate behind the grill. I haven't gotten pulled over yet but I am sure I will.
