Couldn't get pics on the install, camera was locked up after hours at work. Will have some later though of finished product tomorrow. Here is a link to someone who also documented the install, except I just did the simple bolt on and that didn't require cutting and removed the Cat and resonator. https://www.northamericanmotoring.com...t-install.html The sound is Awesome!!! Basically is sounds alot like a Subaru STI with an after market exhaust. Very deep and throaty at low RPM's and gets a bit higher pitched after 4500 RPMs. NO droaning at all at cruise speeds such as 45 or 65mph. It gets a bit bassy if you are at a high gear say 6th going 40mph and give it a little gas. Simple down shift takes care of it. I'll see after the breakin time how much it settles down. Right now though, it is great!!! You can really hear the turbo spooling up to redline now, pulls much faster and stronger, and revs faster as well. Traction control kept going off! There maybe something about that 30+hp they claim, I can really understand it being possible since it Does eliminate both the resonator and one Cat. Again, it sounds like a very pissed off Mini!!! Very happy!! and very simple install!! Maybe I can get a video uploaded by Sat or Sunday as well

Jason

It was 520 GBP which equated to $730 delivered to my front door in 1 day from England!!! That price included the shipping. Actually, I ordered in on Monday, they packaged it up and shipped it Tuesday and was at my door at 1pm Wednesday!! Along with a pair of white no slip gloves, I guess they were so you didn't get finger prints on the exhaust tip!

How did you get it for so cheap? Are you located in the U.K?
It's $925 through MINI Mania.

I ordered it directly from quicksilver, they even sent white gloves to install it so I guess you didn't get finger prints on it. At the time, the exchange rate was I believe $1.35 per British Pound. Not sure what it is now. The exhaust was round $500 US dollars plus shipping added the total to just over $700 delivered. I live in North Carolina USA.

The build quality of the system looks very cheap, but if you're happy so be it

Maybe 10 to 15 whp and maybe 30 hp with a catless downpipe (removal of cat will do the same in a stock mcs exhaust) the problem i have with the quicksilver is that the pipe has a 2inch id which is same as stock and smaller than a factory jcw exhaust.
