Interior/Exterior OEM Aero front bumper painting
Only cost about $225 to do mine a few months back, by the same shop that does the work for the local MINI dealership.
Two things to pay attention to:
1) there is a special paint/additive used for the black areas (if you choose to paint the flares and lower lip black per spec) to make the texture better match the black plastic textured arches. Whoever does paint for MINI dealerships should have the stuff... but others may not...
2) Some MINI colors are a bear to match - especially mine (Cool Blue metallic/pearl).... at least for my car, the Standox brand basecoat (German, I think what BMW recommends) was the closest match...

Paul,
Funny, I am using the same guy and have been quoted $350. Dan recommended him. No big deal. I will gladly pay the extra amount since I could not anybody here locally that seemed confident in doing the balck texture.
To the original poster the $350 I was quoted seems to be pretty on the mark from what I have read in other threads. A place locally that does not have experience with the textured paint quoted $550 and I kept on going.

Whoever you choose to paint it. I recommend getting the Xpel clear protectant or equal put on after the paint cures. The paint is not near as durable as the factory paint on mine, and I had mine painted by the same guy as Paul above..In another year or so I'll be having it repainted as Hot Orange too was a bear to match and the 2 different touch up pens I have don't really match either.. Price wise mine was alittle cheaper as I went all one color and didn't add the black texture paint..

Amen. As soon as my paint cured for three weeks, I touched up about 20 chips I had already and applied a clear bra to the bumper (had it on my factory bumper before). It's not 100% coverage, and I still have to touch up chips in the few areas it doesn't cover, but it's MUCH better and easier to stay on top of... a little touchup paint and Langka treatment once every month or two and it looks cherry...
