i looked around and couldn't find it anywhere. how do you remove the gas cap?. also if you paint the inside of your headlight(chrome part) would it make you lights less bright?

 

Inside the gascap at the top is a locking tab. Use a small screwdriver to pull Dow on it then turn the outside part of the cap about a quarter of a turn an it comes right off.

 

to add to paleo, i believe you turn ccw to get it off, and when you replace it back on, cw, and it will click into the tab location.

the joey mod (painting inside chrome part) will not make it any less bright, so long as you have the xenon projector headlamps. if you have halogens, then those headlamps rely on the reflective nature of the chrome to bounce light onto the road.
do a search for joey mod and you will see the two versions and where/how much you can paint/what paint to use for this modification.
